Mark your calendars and get ready for the return of the Genesee Valley Landowner Workshop. After taking two years off and focusing on digging in to do the hard work of supporting conservation work and expanding agricultural opportunities in the watershed, the Genesee Valley Conservancy and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston County have teamed up again to bring landowners together for a day of learning.

This year, three local practitioners and experts will come together at the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership (BOCES) Mount Morris Campus on Saturday, April 9th to foster a morning of learning together. This year’s focus will be on creating opportunities for flora and fauna to thrive in harmony with your land management and stewardship goals. Whether you’re a market grower , a backyard enthusiast, or simply interested in cultivating new ways to deepen your relationship with the natural world, this workshop is sure to bring something new to the table.

Unlike past events, this year’s workshop design will have three sessions spread out across the morning, and an opportunity to connect over a cup of coffee and light snacks. Come together as a community on a Spring Saturday before the bustle of the growing season and Summer are upon us.
