Special Giving

You can direct special contributions into existing funds to advance our conservation efforts. Simply include the desired fund in the memo line or as a note with your gift to “place this gift in the ____ Fund” and we will use it to advance that aspect of our work. Some of our present needs are listed below along with their cost.

Acquisition Fund

Provides capital to support acquiring critical conservation easements and nature preserves.

  • A gift of any amount will help advance our efforts to acquire new conservation areas.

  • Need: $15,000

  • Averages: $700/acre

  • Averages: $150/acre

Stewardship Fund

Covers annual work to ensure conservation easements and nature preserves remain protected

  • A gift of any amount will help the Conservancy steward our protected places.

  • Need: $27,000

  • Need: $1,700 per student

  • Need: $210 per workday

  • Need: $60 per workday

  • Need: $350

Preserve Maintenance Fund

Supports physical improvements and maintenance projects on our nature preserves.

  • A gift of any amount will help support our network of nature preserves.

  • Need: $600

  • Need: $26,600

  • Need: $4,000 each

  • Need: $1,635
