Genesee Valley 100 Fills in Record Time with New Artists

The fifth annual Genesee Valley 100 project is well underway. Over 120 canvases were distributed earlier this year to artists so they can paint a piece inspired by the Genesee Valley. Without any further guidance, the mosaic created by these individuals will showcase the beauty and diversity of the Genesee Valley.

Some 400 works have been created across past shows that featured fiber arts, photography, and painting.

This year’s project will feature many past participants, but also includes first timers whose talents we are excited to display.

Our new artists include students from Beth Adam’s Geneseo Central art class. These students are joined for the first time by students from Perry Central, taught by Stephanie Emerson.

It is early, but save the date because this art show and sale should not be missed!
